More Mile's R66 2 Running Shoe offers superior cushioning to ensure all day distance comfort

With an ultra-thick and soft Phylon midsole the More Mile R66 2 shoes offer the pinnacle in impact protection. Designed specifically to suit athletes competing in and training for ultra-marathons and distance events, the R66 is suitable for any distance runner looking for extra cushioning, comfort and protection from their footwear. Durable blown rubber is strategically utilised in high impact and abrasion zones on the outsole, specifically on the heel and toe, to provide traction and durability without an undue increase in weight. The thick Phylon midsole overlays the upper with a raised wall, particularly around the heel to add security and rear foot stability so the foot sits within the midsole rather than perched on top.

The breathable moisture wicking upper with a padded and shaped tongue provides immense comfort over those long miles by keeping temperature of the feet regulated whilst drawing moisture away from the skins surface, reducing the likelihood of blisters and discomfort. The thick weave mesh is also incredibly durable meaning the shoes will last as long as you can run in them!

The R66 is the ideal companion for athletes of all abilities and disciplines from the ultra-runner to the road runner looking for that bit more cushioning and protection.

Features:

  • Breathable and durable mesh upper.

fine for the price, get 1/2 size up Review by owen

I had the first version and these are very similar, very lightweight, quite fast considering their size, well ventilated, good laces, traction is ok considering the lack of rubber. I would recommend half a size larger than your usual street shoe size though they fit quite narrow.
The lack of rubber means they do wear down quickly, but you can easily buy three of these for the same price as big brand shoes. (Posted on 24/07/2020)

Cheap, Ok shoe, doesn't last long Review by Ben

I'm a 1:13 half marathoner, 2:47 full marathoner.

I bought this cheap and comfortable shoe in February. Used on the treadmill, trail, road, grass. Has served well on long runs, tempo runs and easy runs.

2 months in, the rubber on the sole of the shoe is all peely off, the fabric on top is starting to rip, and the insoles have lost their place within the shoe.

I like the 'Hoka' thick sole feel, but wouldn't buy this shoe again. (Posted on 21/04/2020)

these were a gift for my 73year old mum!

we persuaded her to try walking park-run with us when we were up visiting on New Year Days, but discovered she didn't have suitable footwear (hiking boots a bit extreme for a beach prom park run, but normal shoes no good either) - she borrowed my daughter's (Asics) trainers for her first one, but as it was coming up for her birthday we thought her own pair would be good and might encourage her to do it more (with my dad, who at 78 is still fit enough to run-walk Park Run :) )

didn't want to spend loads of money as I wasn't convinced she'd use them, but she's utterly delighted with them (so comfy!). She's not actually done another Park Run yet (without grandchildren there to encourage her) and if I'm honest, I'm not sure these will ever see much *running* at all - but she's happily wearing these round town and for general walks as well. so all good (Posted on 13/03/2020)

Having had a number of pairs of these running shoes over the years is testament of their suitability for my use. I am a jogger rather than a runner but do occasionally throw in the odd half marathon. (Posted on 06/11/2019)
Great value, heavily cushioned road shoes Review by Phil

I have been a runner on and off road for many years (2000 miles per year). I've used many makes of road shoes some very expensive and still think these are the best long distance trainers I've ever had. They just eat up the miles and are very comfortable - heavily cushioned (think Hokka). I guess serious road racers won't want to use then for a race (although I wouldn't hesitate - I'm a 1hr 45min half marathoner) and they wouldn't be suitable for an over pronator. They probably don't last quite as long as some road shoes but I get 200 plus miles out of each pair and they are such good value that it doesn't matter - I can buy three R66's for the price of most reasonable road shoes. I'd recommend giving them a try, you haven't got much to lose! (Posted on 09/10/2019)

I have ran in saucony jazz at double the price of these and I think the more miles shoes are better, just as light but much better support, I ran 8 miles in them as soon as I got them and they provide really good support to the heel area. thank you. (Posted on 15/09/2019)

This is my second pair of More Mile running shoes, my first pair starting to get a bit thin on the sides now. I like them for the cushioning - my aim is to keep running for longer, not necessarily to do so quicker and so protecting my knees is paramount.
They're comfortable out of the box and I ran 8km in them straight off, with 10km a bit later - both runs were comfortable. (Posted on 26/06/2019)

These are the second pair of More Mile running shoes and they are designed with runners in mind. I wore them for the first time on a 10K run and they were like running in bedroom slippers very comfortable - no blisters - no sore feet - no problems. Didn't improve my time though... Surprised Review by Benjamin

I am new to running. Only really forced to because I've recently joined the Army Reserves. Whereas I prefer to spend time lifting weights or cycling.

There's some countryside ear me so I have a pair of Brooks Trail running trainers but I wanted something for the pavement.

I could have gone back to Brooks but I thought I would look around. I noticed More Mile because if I am honest, they are well priced and a bit of research says they are a British brand.

Not really having any clue about what makes a good running shoe I thought I would read some opinions on running forums.

The general consensus was that More Mile make a very good trainer at a good price with people saying due to the price they would buy multiple pairs of the same shoe.

So I decide to buy a pair. They feel great, dry well and are light. I would say they are not a well built perhaps or rather, the materials do not feel as 'expensive' as my Brooks, but the Brooks were three times the cost.

However, I feel like I always tend to opt to wear my More Mile trainers when I just need to wear a pair of trainers for anything. (Posted on 28/03/2019)
Loved the original but new version is dissapointing Review by Matt

I have ran in the original More Mile shoe for for years and loved them but the upgrade is disappointing.

The tongue keeps moving
They rubbed on the side of my foot
In just under 150 miles the heel has worn through on the inside of the shoe.

Time to find a new go to shoe as will not be buying these again sadly. (Posted on 03/03/2019)
