It isn't just the increased rear wheel travel that distinguishes the LT from the standard Hightower, the increased travel means the reach is slightly shorter (by 7mm), the head angle a half-degree slacker (66.4°), and the seat angle is also 0.5° slacker. The rear triangle, albeit similar, is different too - the most noticeable change is the move to a post-mount rear brake fixture. The Hightower LT is designed to go fast and allow for a bigger margin of error, it's a straight-up race weapon with no option to run 27.5" tyres or adjust the geometry via a flip chip.
Available with either a Carbon C or Carbon CC frame, and with the choice of five carefully chosen build kits with Shimano or SRAM drivetrains as well as the choice of RockShox or Fox suspension, there should be a Santa Cruz Hightower LT to suit your needs!
