Sizing and washing info Review by JR

Excellent socks and value @ 3 for £10. Sizing is a bit small: I'm a size 9/43 and the 8.5 to 10.5 fit me fine but I think they'd be a stretch on a size 10.5 foot. These socks come 8cm up my shin 9measured from the point of the ankle bone to the neck of the sock. They have not shrunk for me after 20 odd washes at 30 degrees. My first pair measures 240mm laid flat: the new pair is245mm, measured toe to where the sock would cover the bottom of the Achilles tendon, ie parallel to the sock 'sole'. Other detail in other review ('John'). (Posted on 04/02/2016)
Warm comfortable robust (to washing) 'go to' socks Review by John

After a pair for a birthday and a few months' wear, buying 3 pairs for £10 offer was well worth it. I suffer from cold toes (frostbitten or frost nipped through cross country skiing and Royal Marines winter warfare exercises in Norway a while ago). So socks which are warm for cycling through the winter are vital. These are the best I've found for <15 degree temperatures. I shall not wear them when it's warmer; why would you? They are not bulky so my socked feet fit into my winter cycling boots without feeling constrained for space - wiggle room is necessary. I'm doing 200km a week over winter so these socks are getting plenty of use. The first pair has been washed at least 20 times and are looking and feeling good as new. Their 'seamless' construction means I have had no 'hot spots' let alone blisters. Their dark colour means they could be used for commuting and non-cycling daily use. A warm, comfortable, robust 'go to' pair of socks for your every cool weather cycle. (Posted on 04/02/2016)

Better than expected Review by Simon

After having used them some time, I would rate them better than I did initially (it seems not to be possible to change an existing review).
I was first disappointed because of the fabric combination (far away from pure Merino), but they keep warm, and on cold days sweat was no issue, as I was afraid before. (Posted on 19/02/2015)

As I cycle commute all-year round oin a Flat-bar CX, and being of an age (early 50's), I find I really suffer on the cold North East winter mornings, and finding the right socks has been a challenge.
I have previously bought Merino liner socks but still had uissues - until now.

These socks are very warm, confortable, and don't shrink in the wash, so his every mark from my perspective, and at 3-pairs for only £10 - what more could I ask for. (Posted on 14/01/2015)
only 40% wool Review by Simon

Unfortunately the website does not provide information about the fabrics.
They are (due to the packaging):
40% Wool, 40% Acrylic, 15% plyamide, 4% Elastodiene, 1% Elastane.
I hoped, they have significantly more merino Wool. The packaging even does not mention Merino at all.
Haven't tried them for a longer time yet, but they feel like provoking sweat.

Won't send back, as they were cheap, and the price is not worth it (paid 10 £ for 3 pairs), and would not buy them again. (Posted on 10/01/2015)
