Garmin Forerunner 920XT HRM Multisport Watch – "A watch that’s qualified to guide the training of amateurs and elite-level athletes alike"
Sleek enough to wear all day, the Garmin Forerunner 920XT is designed to give you a complete picture of your daily activity. 15% Lighter than its predecessor with flexible, hinged bands and a crystal-clear high-resolution display, the 920XT has everything you need to rise above your limits in the pool, on the road, and on the bike.
In the water the 920XT measures every aspect of your stroke and captures detailed swim metrics – including distance, pace, stroke count and stroke rate – so you can hone your technique and enhance your training capabilities. There’s also a Drill Logging Feature which allows you to quickly and easily record swim drills and kick sets while you’re in the pool, and with two separate Rest Timers you’ll always push off the wall in time. Programmable Alerts also keep you up to date with key information on stroke rate and calories burnt, while a sophisticated Distance Tracker lets you know when a set is over.
Perfect your Running Form
On the road the Forerunner 920XT helps you train smarter and more efficiently, tracking running data to optimise your form and technique and guide your cadence training. Based on the same technology found in the Forerunner 620, the 902XT features a built-in Heart Rate Monitor which estimates your VO2 Max and uses that information to predict finishing times for several different race distances while you’re on the go. The watch also provides real time updates on cadence, ground contact, and vertical oscillation so you’re always aware of the efficacy and economy of your stride. You also get a Metronome Feature which uses this telemetry to alert you if you’re falling behind your race pace or pre-programmed training goals. And with the 920XT you can take the guesswork out of recovery, as the watch provides a real-time recovery check immediately after aerobic exercise.
Crank up your Training
On the bike the 920XT is compatible with a range of sensors and performance indicators which provide a real insight into cycling capacity and general fitness levels. These measurements include speed, cadence, heart rate and wattage, and by delivering this information the 920XT makes it easier to improve performance and enhance your cycling workouts. A built-in Altimeter also provides accurate information on hill climbs and descents, and once your ride is done you can upload the data to Garmin’s online community, Garmin Connect, and gauge your performance against other cyclists in your age bracket.
From the company that launched the world’s first GPS Multisport Device comes a watch that’s qualified to guide the training of amateur and elite-level athletes alike, transitioning between sports at the push of a button.
